SUNFLOWERS ON A SUNNY DAY

Zooming along Highway 16, we saw gazillions of Sunflowers
in bloom.

It was difficult to capture the vast sea of yellow from my moving
car.
Enlarging the photos will help.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

I have never seen so many sunflowers in one place! I've tried two summers in a row to grow these in my garden and failed. I see them growing wild, even through concrete, but my garden rejects them. Hmph!

That is a LOT of sunflowers. When I was working, I would pass wild sunflowers (the smaller kind) and would pull over and pick a few for my desk. Sometimes I brought a few ants with them.

I know that Kansas (the Sunflower State) and a guy named Bob came to mind as you snapped those pics. :)
