HOT, HOT, HOT !!!

This was the perfect place to be when the temperatures reached
a roasty, toasty 105F.
The icy mountain river and the slight breeze made this a wonderful place for
a BBQ with friends and family.
You can almost hear the rushing river and feel the refreshing air
When you ENLARGE the photo.

A BBQ with friends and family in the heat sounds much better than three trips to the zoo in the heat...which is what I've been doing. Can you spell stinky? Love your cool water picture!

We're not that hot, but summer is definitely here. Looks like a refreshing place to beat the heat!

this looks very much like the creek beside our house in Clear Creek KY when i was a child. i miss these creeks and would love to see this one. 105 is scary heat. i have been complaining about 94 here.

Ewww, 105! I don't miss the triple digits. That is a beautiful creek you've captured.

Yes, it looks like an inviting and quiet, peaceful place.

it was ME bringing in bouquets of weeds. and occasionally one of my uncles prized crepe myrtle blossoms. when he wasn't looking. to me all those thousands of blooms, he had about 20 trees, 12 to 20 feet tall, were there to be picked,

Was that BBQ with friends and family a cooling experience via wishful thinking or a reality. Either way, your photo gave me some cool, serene moments of pleasure.

Beautiful picture, and what a nice time to have a BBQ with friends.

We had our Father's Day BBQ, the weather held, and we had a wonderful breeze, tons of food, and loving on those kids and grandkids...does it get any better?

Ooh, I can feel my toes dipping in that water, helping cool my entire body down. Amazing what a dip can do for the soul.

I am thankful we have rain instead of the heat!
