ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER "K"

Today we are at the letter K in our trip around the alphabet.
I'm posting early because I will be going on my annual trip to Mexico with my Church.

As you can see, I will be joining a team of 30 on the KITCHEN (K)rew.

We will be (K)ooking for 850 of our (K)losest friends.
By the time we are finished the 850 High School, College and adults
will feel like KINFOLK.
There is nothing like sleeping in huge tents together to foster the feeling of
KINSHIP.

This is our group of 650 from last year.
That's a lot of meals to prepare!
The KEY to happy KIDS is KEEPING their tummies full.

KINDLY  KEEP us in your prayers as we go to build homes for
some very poor families and do many Festivals to brighten their days.

Can you imagine, we shop for this crowd when we arrive in Mexico?
Its quite a sight to see pallet after pallet go out the door of Costco.
I will try to get a few pictures this time if the managers will allow it
at the store.

KUDOS to everyone posting for the letter K this week.
Go to my sidebar to see what others have done for ABC Wednesday.

Oh I loved this Post! And it is not just kiddos who are happy with their tummies filled. Your food team is awesome! What a wonderful ministry, and the organization of logistics on such a large scale must be amazing. Praying that you all will be encouraged by the evidence of God's Spirit at work!

Thank you for sharing!

Safe travels to you and your group! Godspeed you back home safely. In the meantime, I'm sure you will be a blessing to many.

Praying for your safety. Things are not good down there so be careful. (We live close to the border).

Just popped back to let you know that L and I are back together after a year of taking it really slowly. Hopefully, it will be forever! :D

Glad to know you have lots of protection and awareness. I debated whether to say anything, but on a subject like this better to err on the side of too much information. We are constantly aware because the drug cartels are making strong attempts to spread all the way to LA. We get all the news here . But you have the Lord on your side and He knows our ways. Bless you. Have a safe and successful time.
