OUT MY WINDOW

My Camillias are really blooming right now.
There are four on one branch trying to peek in the dining
room window.
I can see at least two buds that will explode within the
next few days.

What I did discover (well, I knew it already)
My windows need washing!
I put the lens directly on the window pane and shot the
wonderful stamen and pistils of the flower.
The photo is full of noise but I rather like the texture that
it created.
Enlarging the photos will confirm that my windows need
a wash job.

Very cool closeup. Look how your lens reflected in the window, also. A Leica.

Ah well Sue, washing one window won't take long. Nice to still have the flowers I think? - Dave

I agree about blog/FB is enough, i don't use FB for anything except keeping up with family photos and this new thing beats me why any wants to do it, but they do. Your comment about my every day post, i am retired and no family here, just 2 dogs and hubby. I have all day every day to play and I do. what daily post means is i have no life

I agree windows can be tricky - someone should come up with a self clean window glass - moving on - your camellias are stunning such a gorgeous pink - mine are out too - I have posted a pic on my gardening blog Marigold - Jane UK

Great idea! I shall never wash my windows again and take photos the way you did. They are stunning! Thanks for sharing your secret!
