ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " A "

AGAIN we have ARRIVED AT the letter " A " for
ABC Wednesday.
Its hard to believe that we ARE AT Round 10!
I call my first photo...Life Begins ANEW.
Even though we haven't had very much Winter AROUND
here, the buds and signs of new life ARE popping out ALL
over the AREA.
ALWAYS
enlarge the pictures to get the best detail.

ANYBODY hungry for the AROMATIC flavor of Red
Delicious APPLES?

AS you ASCEND the steps,
take a close look AT each stair.
Each step is polished AGATE and other beautiful stones.
I think they ACCENT the steps so ARTISTICALLY.

Use your ARTFUL imagination to see this ANCIENT
Sphinx.
I know you ARE ABLE to do that.
If I can't see the ANTIQUITIES for real
I guess I will have to see them in my minds eye.

Be sure to go to the ABC Link on my sidebar to see what
other ARTISIANS have posted for the letter " A ".

What a great way to begin Round 10.
I enjoyed a crisp apple this afternoon. Your's look great!

I've been thinking of not doing round 10, but think I will just make it more simple this time.

Posted my Creative Tuesday, so will get busy for my ABC Wed.

Great shots and words for the letter A. I think the shot of the branches and buds you begin with almost form the letter A.

stairs are lovely, but I think it'd distract from actually CLIMBING them!

Your buds reminded me to go and have a look at the daffodils here, last week they looked as though they were well on the way to bud.
Love the intense light on the sphinx.

The first photo is fantastic and “Life begins anew” is perfect title for it. When I saw the second photo, it made my mouth watered. I would love to bite into one of those. They look so delicious. The stairs are really lovely and the rock formations are fascinating.

Hey Sue, that is about the wildest staircase I've ever seen... But where is it? I'd sure like to know... Actually I'd like to also also pass on the location to a fellow I took my bookmaking class with at Stanford (continuing education department) -- he specializes in photographing just staircases and he's photographed them all over the world... Quite a character, and he produced the most beautiful book of staircases you'd ever want to see... But he doesn't have this one... He should... I'd like to check it out too, if it isn't on the other side of the world...

And by the way -- wrote you a reply to your comment earlier but wasn't sure you'd see it so here it is -- I'll paste it in below:

And PHOTOWANNABE SUE -- You must remember everybody calling him "Moonbeam" back when he was first governor. How in the hell did we get him for a second term, is my question... Obviously better than the jerk we had in there, and the jerk before that... Why does the office of Governor attract such jerks? Check on that, will you, Sue, and get back to me. I think you live closest to Sacramento of any of us...

Anew is a fantastic way to begin this round! Our winter has been warmer than usual and I noticed a few small buds on the trees. Oh NO! I'm afraid they'll be nipped here shortly by temps in the teens! Great shots all around, and I love the steps!

My favorite is the first one, bright green buds contrasting with the strong, rich brown that cups eac bud. Love the image as well as how well it conveys the message of new life. Well done
