ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " Y "

Here we are at the next to the last letter of the alphabet.
The letter is " Y ".
This post is going to be just a bit different than most I
have blogged.
I had a YEN to think about some direction for the new YEAR.

If YOU will go back to my last post YOU'LL see that my
Hubby is now 70 YEARS YOUNG.
He celebrated his birthday YESTERDAY, January 1st.

Here are some thoughts and quotes for 2012.

I think this is a great time to contemplate what we do with
our money.
Do we care for those less fortunate than ourselves?
Let's keep the YULETIDE Spirit going and be generous
and get the focus beyond ourselves.
I really like these thought provoking quotes. They are
something to think about.

-Peter Marshall: "Give according to YOUR income, lest God
make YOUR income according to YOUR giving."

-George Mueller: "God judges what we give by what we keep."

-Martin Luther: "I have tried to keep things in my hands and
lost them all, but with what I have given into God's hands I still
possess."

-J.D. Rockefeller: I never would have been able to tithe the
first million dollars I ever made if I had not tithed my first
salary, which was $1.50."

-Jimmy Carter: When it comes to giving, some people
will stop at nothing."

-Mother Teresa: "If YOU give what YOU do not need, it isn't giving."

Interesting life words to chew on.
