SPRINGTIME STORM APPROACHING

A few days ago we went to one of our favorite places.

Lake Tahoe seems to give us the refueling that our minds
and bodies need.

One day the sun was out and the Lake had so many jewel-like
colors.

The next day the winds blew whitecaps and waves to the shore.

It was still beautiful to me.

Be sure to enlarge the photo to see the detail more clearly.

Even today, we are experiencing the many faces of tahoe. Cold and grey today.

A good day to go to the Laundrymat. Met two lovely Christian women. Now we have clean clothes, and two new friends.

I've always found the optical pickings at the beach far lovelier when the weather's threatening than when it's calm. This picture proves the theory quite nicely: what color and texture!

I think this may become one of my fave places, too. So great for the soul!

Interesting how we can see God's beauty in nature even when the storms are blowing.

That is a beautiful photo -- clear and sharp. I have been to Tahoe only once and it certainly is a beautiful lake.

I love the patterns you captured in the tables photo. Thanks for prayers. I am home and continuing rehab as outpatient. So glad in this first attempt at commenting that the digital exterminators have eliminated the bug that frustrated me and others for several months.

I've always wanted to visit Lake Tahoe, but I always imagined it to be calm...the photo sort of took me back a bit! Love your post, as usual, and I wish you a wonderful week.
