ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " C "

Last Friday was National CHEESECAKE Day.
Being the patriotic COUPLE that we are,
we did our CIVIC duty and went to the CHEESECAKE Factory restaurant and indulged.
Dave had Banana CREAM CHEESECAKE.
I had Fudgey CARAMEL Pecan yumminess.
I know the CALORIES COMSUMED were many
but I'm not COMPLAINING. It was so good!!

Dave and I love and have many COLLECTIBLES and antiques.
This guy is from my Royal COPLEY CERAMIC COLLECTION.
Jose is from the 1940's and still in great CONDITION.
He is actually a planter but I would hate to see leaves sprouting from his head.

When my Hubby and I feel COMPELLED to get away
we always CONSIDER Lake Tahoe.
CHIPMUNKS running around the CRACKS and CREVICES
of the granite boulders give us a welcome break
and a CHANCE to look at the nature there.
Isn't he CUTE?

I am CONFIDENT that if you would CONSIDER this for a while,
You'd figure out this picture.
You are looking down the CANNON barrel of a huge CANNON
that protected the entrance to the Golden Gate and San Francisco in the late 1800's.
Please make a CONSCIOUS effort to see what others have COMMUNICATED for ABC Wednesday by going to Mrs. Nesbitts link on my sidebar.

How wonderful. If I had known it was National Cheesecake Day, I would have made an effort to do my civic duty too. I love your photos.

I'm in Virginia for the big number 4. I still am not up to par. I told David I felt like I had lost the last six months. At my age, I don't need to be losing any!

A cool post. Sounds as if you made a considerable sacrifice consuming those cheesecakes :)

Why didn't you let me know about Nat'l Cheesecake Day? Why or why?

Besides feeling completely bereft of cheesecake, I love all your photo offerings this week.

Cheesecake? Did someone say Cheesecake? :-D Possibly my all time favorite dessert. Now I'm craving turtle cheesecake and it's 2 hours before lunch. I really like the canon shot. Very imaginative.

Banana cheesecake with, what else, bananas, yummy. However my favourite has to be the cute chipmunk, bet he would like some cheesecake.

I knew it was cheesecake day and did nothing. Missed my big chance. Great read and photos for the letter C - I think you're doing Jose a huge favor by not planting in his head!

Fun post! I love the puzzle at the end. I thought it might be a chimney, but it's a cannon!! I'd never have guessed.

The chipmunk is cute - and there's a crack in that rock!
