BEGINNINGS

Thought I'd post the beginnings of the pomogranite.
This bud will grow and by September will be just right to pick.
The weather forecasts temperatures at 100 degrees today.
Its not the best day for my Hubby to be sick with a miserable cough.
He's going to stay home and nurse it while I go to church.
Have a wonderful Sunday.
Be sure to enlarge the photo to see the detail.

Good one, Sue - hope your husband is feeling better soon. Summer is the worst time to feel poorly. Very good photo!

Very nice Sue. I haven't had pomegranate since I was a kid growing up in California. Your photo brings back memories. Hope your husband gets well soon!

Such rich, deep colors! My wife and daughters love pomegranates. They don't do much for me even though they're interesting to look at.

Ugh! 100° is toooo hot! We had almost a week of that last week. It is still hot, very hot but a much more tolerable 92° today.

The pomegranate looks beautiful. Love that red.

I have never seen a small baby pomegranate in red!
The ones I know from here and Italy usually are more orange than red.
