ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " A "

Welcome to # 7 of ABC Wednesday .
Its time to travel through the ALPHABET AGAIN, beginning with the letter " A ".
My first picture is of the AWESOME ARTERY clogging burger
from the burger joint called Squeeze Inn.
They put the cheese on the meat in such AN ARTFUL way.
It makes A skirt of yummy fried cheese AROUND the entire burger.
I ABSOLUTELY loved every greasy, juicy bite AND won't have ANOTHER one for a very long time.
I don't know if my ARTERIES could take it.

On A walk AT the Maidu Indian grounds I noticed this great fence.
I loved the way the construction made A series of capital A's.

It seems AFRICA is ALWAYS on my mind these days.
Perhaps you would like to stay AT this transit hotel?
The sign says ACCOMODATIONS ARE AVAILABLE.
Its hard to know what's behind the walls though.

AWWWWW.....
This is A sweet little guy named Cimmeron.
At least that's what it sounded like.
He was ALWAYS happy and APPRECIATIVE
of ANY ATTENTION we gave him.
ANOTHER team from our church is ACTUALLY
visiting him and the Maasai tribe Today.
I guess that's why my thoughts keep straying back to my beloved AFRICA.
Be sure to enlarge the pictures to see things in better detail.

What a marvelous post for the A Day! I love your photos of Africa and the little one is adorable. As for that yummy looking cheeseburger, I think I'd better be glad that it is out of reach! I can already hear the arteries screaming! Have a great week! Enjoy!

These photos are Awesome! I especially like the burger, it's captured in such an interesting way that I don't know if I want to eat it or turn away in disgust, either way it definitely got a response out of me.

Oh my, that burger looks deliciously sinful. And I don't believe I would stay at the African hotel with Accommodations...no matter how Available they are!

Dimple said...

You found a lot of A's! Absolutely qwesome!

I was wondering about that burger and how you would get an A out of that. Brilliant find though!

I thought the burger was a hat when I first caught a glimpse of it, - much more satisfying to eat than a straw hat, - which supplies most roughage I wonder..... Great A's and wonderful pictures of Africa.

Awesome. Amazing shots for A Day. The boy's so adorable.

Thanks for the visit.

I bet that tasted delectable—however— I expect that one can't indulge too often. Maybe 'tis better to just look at the photo.

Fascinating photos of Africa—

I love little Cimmaron. I just said a prayer for him. What a precious face.

Did I ever tell you that Kaishon wants to go to Africa? He has been begging and pleading since he was about 4 : ) He always tells me that he is part African!

I love that you care and love the people there. You are a blessing and you truly make the world a better place!

I guess the burger restaurant got its name because you have to "squeeze in" to your clothes after eating that monster. Looks delish! I'll have a scoop of that ice cream you've so cleverly placed in the post below it, too.

Hi Sue. I really do appreciate you inviting me to begin blogging again! I shall have to get going again. Thanks. Keep a watch out! - Dave

When you talked about Artery Burger... first thing came to mind is that "I don't think my arteries would be happy about that." But... the cheese decoration was good.

My ABC Wednesday is up HERE. Happy Wednesday!

The cheesiest burger - that does look fancy and I'm doubting a person could handle more than one. :) Clever fencing and darling kiddo.

When we lived in San Francisco, we would often make the trip to the Sacramento area (my son was in school at Davis) and I always wanted to try the Squeeze Inn (I had seen it featured on the Food Network), but my wife feared for my heart health and would always veto the trip.

Wonderful imagery -- maybe I can use it to convince her otherwise!

Another brilliant collection! Don't know how you manage to weave those all together. Maybe there's an A-Z book in there somewhere?

From the Artery clogger to the Awesome boy from Africa, you stole my heart. And I don't even eat meat any more! :)

I can feel my arteries hardening just by looking at your burger. It would go nicely with the Tusker beer at the hotel.
