ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " V "

I am posting a bit early.
This picture and the one below are the reasons.
A VERY cold theme on a VERY hot day! 98F or 36.667C.
Our church is having their annual Summer camp or VACATION Bible School called Breakaway to the Arctic Freeze.

By the time we have done a VARIETY of activities, almost 3000 kids from Kindergarten through 5th grade will have gone through the VAST icebergs and seen the VARIOUS penguins and polar bears. After today, the first day , the kids smiles spoke VOLUMES.
We have 1900 VOLUNTEERS giving VALUABLE time and energy to make it a fun time for everyone.

This picture is entitled the Builder's Dream. I took it at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles.
In 1917 Dr. Hubert Eaton revolutionized the cemeteries of America with the Memorial-Park plan.
Cemeteries were transformed by his VISION.
We all need dreams and VISIONS to make this world a better place.

A VERTICAL VIEW of the New York City skyline. There is such a VAST VARIETY of architecture and VARIATION on every corner.
Don't VACILLATE, enlarge each picture to see the detail.

I'm sure all the kids enjoyed such a great VBS theme! Bless you and the volunteers for taking time to teach the young ones. Love the statue too. New York is too tall for me. ;-)

Great photo's. It's hitting the high nineties here, but raining with it. Dry season over (up to 108) but still the heat.

Great to make a virtual tour in the arctic areas! The temperature here is still low for summer. The sun is shining, but all the same it's too cold.

Fabulous idea and a wonderful way to encourage children (and adults) to learn and appreciate other areas of the world.
