ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " D "

Today is ABC Wednesday and the letter is " D ".
" D "
is for Digital Difficulities.
I was trying to take some Detailed photographs as we were Driving over hill and Dale the other Day.
I couldn't figure out why my photos looked Different.
I Discovered my Dial had been bumped and my pictures were Definitely blown out.

So I guess you could call me a Digital Dummy.
I'm glad I Didn't Delete them.
Don't you think they make interesting landscapes Devoid of the Dense colors?
Enlarging each one will show the detail.
To see what others have posted for ABC Wednesday go to Denise Nesbitts link on my sidebar.
Thanks for looking.

This is a lesson teaching us NOT to delete what we might not think is so good. Fascinating shots! My husband is in accord with you - I'm far too hasty ;-)

I was about to say you have created some art to be framed and hung in a gallery!!

Yes, I do have a lot of "Little" goodies in my home...I guess you could say I'm quite the collector after all.

I thought they were paintings at first. But you know, dear sweet Miss Photowannabe, if you took a picture of a black sky, I would love it. I always love visiting you! Seeing you with your honey last week was so special! It made my day!

Sue, I think that everyone is going to relate your photos to contemporary art. They're abstract and perfect!

These are quite delightful - abstract/realism! Neat. I'm glad you didn't delete them.

What a fun post! Well, blown out or not, what an interesting picture! I was wondering how you did it (thinking it was something quite magical).
I call that a happy accident.

They are intensely beautiful! Sometimes the best things happen by accident.

Those Darn Dials; I have accidentally taken a few on the wrong setting lately; BUT I hit the Delete key - I wonder what gems they might have been.

That little error has produced some very interesting photos, quite reminiscent of watercolour paintings. :)

my comment can only reiterate what has already been said. lovely abstract, like watercolors, and allows your imagination to fill in the blanks. Beautiful!

To see the world anew, both photography and art.
Those pesky dials, mine is always sllipping onto video and then I'm wondering why nothing is happening. The result a series of judering pictures ending with a voice over of 'what the heck...'.

Oh, how creative lady your are! :-) The result you got are abstract photos. I like them.

You know, you really shouldn't share your photographic "secrets", just let us ooh and aww. And for the record, you're no dummy.

Oh boy, don't feel like the Lone Ranger for making a camera mistake -- I am rather good at making every mistake that can be made...
But I'm glad you didn't delete these because I can see them hanging in some modern art gallery some day... Remember me when you're famous...

they may be blown out, but they are still very interesting and unique to look at! sometimes the best images come from ones we originally think are duds :) your blog is great by the way :D
