ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " W "

This wiley and winsome wild creature is my contribution to ABC Wednesday.
The Warthog has got to be one of the strangest beasts I have ever seen.
"Pumba" (the Disney character from The Lion King) posed so nicely for us while we were on our African safari.

Many wild animals wandered down to drink from the river directly below our Safari tents.
The Warthog was one of them.

Isn't this water beauty a true winner?

Did you know that Warthogs kneel on their front knees to graze the grasses?
I wonder what God was thinking when he created Warthogs.
As always, enlarging the pictures will show more detail.
To see what others have posted for the letter W, go to Mrs. Nesbitts link on my sidebar.

I enlarged all the photos and he/she is just about the cutest UGLY little guy I have seen in a long time. I too wonder what God was thinking. I have often wondered that about alligators and crocodiles and other scary things. this little guy is so ugly he is cute.

What WAS God thinking? Weird, yet strangely wonfderful beast. Great shots.

Well, the warthog is kneeling as if in prayer! And I do like this animal, he makes me smile!

Wonderful W's. I've always thought God had a great sense of humor when He created the animals. There is such a wide variety!

Warthogs - sometimes creatures are so ugly they become beautiful! Great shots - and I think warthogs have their own beauty!

This is certainly a unique contribution to this week's W's! They really are strange-looking creatures, but thanks for reminding me why they look so familiar--"The Lion King," of course:)

Wishing you a blessed and merry Christmas!

They may not be very handsome, but they are amazing animals. I saw many, many of them scurrying around while I was driving around a South African wildlife reserve. They're determined as they root around the ground!

This little guy makes me smile. He's kind of like the ugly duckling so I feel a bit sorry for him. But, he is cute in his own special way. You captured this guy very well...doing what warthogs do! Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Winsome? Well, it depends upon your perception, or relative to what???? Great choice for W though, and he is kind of sweet.
