ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " R "

Today the letter " R " is being featured on ABC Wednesday.
" R " is for Red Rock Canyon. Its hard to get the perspective
of how rugged and really huge this pile of rocks is. Notice in the lower lefthand corner of the picture the hiking trails.
This is a hikers paradise.

The rich layers of color in Red Rock Canyon, Nevada are fascinating to me.

Mountain climbers love the Red Rocks too. Can you find them scaling the side of the rock?
To see what others have posted for the letter " R ", go to Mrs. Nesbitts link on my side bar.

Those are beautiful... My mom and I went to the Grand Canyon last year. I've seen it in pictures, of course, but seeing it in person blew my mind.

It took me a bit, but I managed to find the climbers. Lovely views and colours.

I love the redrock in southern Utah. Maybe we should go visit Red Rock Canyon in Nevada. Beautiful pictures of the massive formations.

Beautiful. Great choice for R. Is this close to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre? I've always thought that would be a great place to see a concert.

Isn't it just beautiful? Those rock formations and colors? We have much of that here in NM and many other colors too! It looks like someone went wild with the crayon box on the landscape!

I LOVED Red Rock Canyon! We stayed at Ruby's at Bryce, and took a trail ride in Red Rock. Since we're not very fit and can't hike far, it was a great way to see it!

Thanks for the memories. :)

Beautiful! This reminds me of the area around Sedona, AZ with all of its red rock formations, too. Beautiful to look at, but I stay safely on the ground:)

It's been many years, but yep, I've been there -- probably a couple times when I was a kid... So much to explore around there...
Love that first shot...
