SPLASHES OF FALL



Fall is trying really hard to finally make its appearance here in the California foothills.
Its such a beautiful time of year even without the definite seasons like so many of you have.

I have a friend living down near LA that really misses the fall color we have here in Washington. So glad you get to enjoy a little color too!

All the leaves are off my front trees.. but not the ones in the backyard.. of course some of these sights only God can create :)

I like those golden leaves all around the tree. Your photo is great especially when is enlarged. I can see clearly the texture of the bark which looks interesting. The roots on top of the ground look impressive; it is interesting how twists and turns they are.

even when I lived in Fl..i loved the season....though I ached for leaves to turn colors......

yours is so much more than what I saw in Florida, Sue...it's beautiful .......
