THE NEIGHBOR'S ROSES

Time for something pretty on this blog.
My neighbor has the most beautiful roses between our two homes. They are so fragrant too.
Wish you could smell them also.

Wow -- that's a nice one... I know you've got some great ones too in your own yard...
My father was a great gardener and had lots of roses, but the closest thing to roses we have around here at Kittyland is berrybushes...

Just lovely. I love the smell of roses outside. Their perfume is intoxicating and these are indeed beautiful. Love the way you filled the frame.

Wow! I have not done with with roses in my garden...perhaps I just don't understand them. I wish I could smell these beauties too.

When I was a kid, our next door neighbour grew beautiful roses, and every year she'd give the first and last rose of the season to my mother. It was a lovely gesture which I'll never forget. This beautiful photo reminded me of that.

Thanks for the tip about the likelihood of Bodie SP closing next year. So sad. I really hope to go before that happens.
