MORE PICTURES OF BREAKAWAY TO THE GREAT FRONTIER

This is the entrance to our Church Celebration Center which for this week was called "The Mine Shaft. "
There were pretty amazing faux rock formations out front with genuine ore mining cars and tracks. The rock formations were also made by talented volunteers from our church.
Be sure to enlarge the shots to see the detail.

My time was spent with these little 4 and 5 year old kiddos. I was part of the snack team. We had lots of hungry kids after they played on these waterslides. The temperature was at 98 degrees or around 39.5C. A perfect time to get wet.

Not the best picture composition-wise but I just loved the expression on this little guys face as he got ready to land in the pool.
Be sure to enlarge each photo for the best detail.

Ye Olde Hitchin' Post.
Giddie Up !
Now Breakaway is done for another year. What a fabulous time. 2800 kids....1000 adult volunteers...Fun, Fun , Fun.
You can go to the website for our church and see the pictures from this great adventure.

98 degrees?
Perfect to remind those little buggers that it's pretty hot in hell too, so they'd better behave...

(((oh shoot, I forgot -- Sacramento IS hell this time of year, isn't it)))

And if that damn legislature doesn't get a budget passed pretty darned soon, may they all burn in hell including that big JERK the Governator...

Good Sunday morning, Sue!
I can say, that your weather is not for me :)
But those your photos tell a nice story about your life there.

I did click on the picture and the expression on the little boy's face as he prepares to hit the water is priceless, I also love the expression on the boy on the left as he watches. Great shots, love the rocks.

The entrance to your Church is impressive. You managed to show some of beautiful atmosphere that was there. It makes me smile while looking at the children playing and enjoying in it. Beautiful post, indeed!
