LIFE IS JUST A BOWL OF CHERRIES

We beat the birds to our crop of cherries this year.
They are so sweet and wonderful. Wish I could share them with you all.
Its pure joy to eat things from our own garden.

No cherries on the trees here in S Ontario yet... but there have been California cherries in the supermarkets, I must buy some, your post has made my mouth water for cherries!

What a joyful photo. Looove cherries! This is the second blog that has featured them, and I never tire of seeing and eating them, especially eating! I was born in Door County and have fond memories of all the cherry blossoms in spring and, of course, the cherry orchard harvests. Num!!

Those look delicious, makes me want to run out and get some! I saw some at the store yesterday but they didn't look near as good as those so we passed on them. We did a garden for the first time this year. So far only radishes have come up, but I'm waiting patiently!

Those are drool-worthy! I have one small, stunted sour cherry tree which essentially feeds the birds. They look great!

... and what beautiful ripe cherries they are! Congratulations on beating the birds! :-)

I am going to the market in an hour or so, hoping to get first pick of a farmer's crop!

A wonderful weekend to you!

Wow -- those look good -- you know you could sell them -- two baskets for five dollars -- but I'm sure they're worth much more than that to you...

Don't bother mailing any, but there are no cherries on my plate -- just a cat on my lap...

Ou! Delicious...I've been wanting to go to Brentwood to pick some cherries, I went a few years ago with some friends and it was a lot of fun!

I love cherries! but it's quiet expensive over here, since they are imported from California. Cost around $12 a kilo. Good thing the rest of the family don't like cherry, so I get to eat all.
