PURPLE AND YELLOW

I'm not sure what these delicate rose-like flowers are. Does anyone know? They are completely covering the bush they are growing on. Among the branches are several Wisteria plants which are blooming their heads off right now too. The two plants together make such a lovely Spring border.

Be sure to enlarge the pictures to get a closer look.
Thanks for stopping by.

What a wonderful natural flower arrangement! I am sorry that I don’t name of that purple plant but its flowers are so lovely and delicate as well as those beautiful yellow flowers. These photos are really worth to see enlarged.

Beautiful flower blend.. and you've captured them so nicely. I'm sharing the same snow that Shammie got.. sigh!

What a beautiful combination of coors! Could the yellow flower be a floribunda rose? It looks like a rose even in the enlarged photo, but I've never seen one in such profusion!

Yes they do...have not a clue what the yellow rose like blossom is...but I love it.

I also enjoyed these two photos and the beauty of the flowers and colours. I wondered if it might be some sort of chrysanthemum but the petals are the wrong shape. Tell us if you find out Sue? - Dave

We have to wait still for our crocuses :)

Wow, these are certainly blooming in your area. You might get more after the rain this week.

To answer your question about the Musee Mecanique, I don't know if those in my pictures are new since I don't visit enough, but it's good to hear that the owner's collection is expanding. I imagine housing all this stuff in the Fisherman Wharf's area isn't cheap.

When my father died, a floral arrangement that I particularly remember was an arrangement of yellow roses and iris. The blue and yellow were perfct. These photox are delightful.
