ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " O "

Today is ABC Wednesday again. The featured letter is " O ".
" O " is for Outlaws. These mugs have renegade "bad guys" called Outlaws as the handles.
The cups were made in Occupied Japan during the period from the end of WWII until the occupation ended in 1952. All the items made during this very short period are marked Occupied Japan.
I have quite a collection of figurines from this time and thought these would be a fun choice for the letter " O ".
I am going to be extremely busy through the weekend and will not be able to visit your blogs till later. My Hubby and I are team leads on a church conference for 3000 people and we are having house guests at the same time so there will be little time for the computer.
To see what others have posted for the letter " O " go to Mrs. Nesbitts link on my sidebar.

By just looking at the photo, I was at a loss as to the O. Scrolling down I found out. What a brilliant choice...

They must be very precious collector items now. Imaging, at that time, we can already see the Hollywood Western movie influence.

These are really fun as an O entry! I think we all have times when we are too busy to make comments on all the abc posts even if we read them all - and we should just excuse each other and assume that we have not been abandoned.

Wow - I never knew about these things! They are so eccentric, aren't they? But I love them!

Outlaws always remind me of Paul newman and Robbert Redford .....I love that sundance kid movie.....and I love those two...I shed a tear or two when Newman passed away!!!!!! :(((

I've been an unhappy camper since I returned from sun, sand, and surf, without much motivation to shoot anything here in the chilly NOB environment. I like this post because I am impressed with the "occupied Japan" stamp; I always look for that in thrift and antique shops but have never found even one piece. You have some treasure there.
