ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " I "

Its amazing how fast the ABC Wednesday seems to roll around again.
Today's letter is " I ". " I " is for this innocent looking Iguana. I don't think I would like to meet this fella up close and personal.
To see what others have posted for the letter " I " go to Mrs. Nesbitts link on my sidebar.
As always, enlarging the picture will show you the detail.
Thanks for looking.

Now that's an unusual "I"! Wonderful photo. He looks intimidating, but colorful.

You are right - the weeks are flying past. I think that I would give him a wide berth too. Great choice for the letter I :)

Ohhhhhhhhh, I love your iguana. I heard they are all over the place in Florida. Around here, PA, they are pets. They always freak me out a little. So scaly!

Wow, I have to show this one to my kids. The oldest is obsessed with the lizards that are starting to show up now that the days are getting warmer. We have some really big ones in our garden and she spends her days imagining ways to capture them...

Is he real? He looks like really well made model. Brilliant choice!

Great ideal for letter „I“ . I agree that it is really well made model. I've never seen iguana in private and I have to say I am not sorry for that.:-)

How funny! I've just come from a blog with 'Iguana' for 'I', and a lovely picture of a man petting one!

I think I'd like to, but I never have. They're not that common here.

Scary looking critter!
Once I was following a car that had a huge green model iguana on the back window shelf. Then suddenly it moved!!!! It wasn't a model at all. Scared me to death (almost!).

No, I wouldn't want to meet up with him, either! Great choice for I.

But she/he seems to be so friendly with that smiling face :)
You have really versatile assortment of photos.
Love that!
Have a happy Wednesday, Sue!

I put also a ABC Wednesday post on my Wordpress blog, if you have time to look at it!

That's a great shot. I should have joined this one. I took some really neat photos of some iguanas over at the kids' camp I used to go to.

One of the workers has a program called, Creation Critters. Schools come out on field trips to see his creatures, and he also goes into the schools and does programs.

It certainly looks like a fearsom critter Sue. Good photo. I also liked your previous one of the hook and chain. A good study. - Dave

We had a baby iguana scuttle across our terrace this past week. He moved really, really fast. Your photo is a good image.

Is this real? I would not get close to it either like the spider I wrote about in my blog. He looks big and ready to eat.

Oh I think he's STUNNING. What wonderful colours.
