ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " G "

Today's ABC Wednesday letter is " G ".
I saw this Gritty, Grimy old Gasoline pump at the Empire Mines State Park.
Its the perfect picture of our Gas situation in the U.S.
Go to Mrs. Nesbitts link on my sidebar to see other choices for the letter " G ".
Enlarging this picture will show all the Grungy details .

We see so much beauty on the Blogs that something Grungy is startling and shows that 'it' really is in the eye of the beholder.

That is a darn good picture regardless of the theme - you should give it more space.

A good candidate for the letter G . This sign must have been quite beautiful when it was new! Thanks for your visit. I have never been to Israel, but in Greece we had the feeling that the bible was closer to us. I never liked Paul very much because of what he said about women, but now I know why he said all those warnings. And I respect him, that he continued preaching, in spite of the beatings, stoning and torture he experienced.

I did enlarge it, such vivid detail, well photographed

How cool. Looking at more artistic representations helps me see beyond the box. I tend to get stuck on nouns and the literal. Thanks

There are so many old gas stations that have gone out of business throughout the country..this makes me think of them and the history they represent..

Your pictures could be showcased in a coffeetable book - you know, a giant one with old classic pictures in it. I love your style.
