TOO EARLY FOR SPRING

Yesterday I went out to our backyard and was surprised to see our plum tree budding already.
The whole tree is alive with little bouquets of green nubs.
To see the detail just click on the photo to enlarge it..

Hope it's not a sign of a long, hot summer.

What a beautiful sight! I only hope it isn’t budding too early and that there will not be frost later on. Beautiful photo!

Lovely shot. I'm envious of your soon-to-be greenery. The colour is quite vibrant.

WOW I guess they have been fooled by all your sunshine and good weather. I hear it is getting cold though and snow is expected at the lower elevations. HURRAY for snow.. :) :)
Nice shot though and hope they make it to flowering.. Aloha, Renee :)

We say that the almond tree is the bride of Spring because her first flowers grows in the snow.
