BETWEEN RAIN SHOWERS I TOOK A LOOK AT SPRING

Our Plum and Almond trees are bursting with blossoms.

The white Plum has such pretty detail in each flower.

Soft creamy pink petals from the Almond tree are already floating to the ground.
Be sure to click on each picture to see the detail enlarged.
Have a great weekend everybody.

Just beautiful. We won't be seeing that around here for another 3 months. Glad to hear that you're on the mend.

Oh, this is wonderful surprise and photos. Our snow still hasn’t gone away. And while we are expecting another amount of it you already enjoy such wonderful blossoms. Lovely photos, great post; it made my day!

Beautiful! Spring is coming faster over there than here, although we already have a few signs of it as well!

Seems like Spring shoudn't be here already, but I guess it is -- maybe it's as confused as I am...

Splendid blossoms on your plum tree, and that's really a fine shot of the almond blossoms...

I used to have two very old Santa Rosa Plum trees in my yard -- they were SO good!   The trees unfortunately fell over several years ago -- my landlord was hinting that he might be planting a new plum tree for me and my upstairs neighbor -- I sure hope so...

These flowers are some of the first things I shot the other day when I got my new lens. It was then that I discovered that using a new lens takes some learning.

Oh, so pretty! Soon the rain will pound all the blossoms off onto the ground. Loverly ;)

You are really living in a different world just now than we are and as you can see about my photos and my grandson`s photos too.
I am admiring your flowering tree and those flowers, but we still here admire almost every day falling snowflakes :)
We will see flowers outside at the earliest after 5-6 weeks and flowers will be then crocus and narcissus.
Flowering trees will be in the end of May or in the beginning of June.
I hope, you feel yourself better by thinking, that you are not living here :)
Our visitors left yesterday and today I will ski many, many kilometers and enjoy snowy views!

I wish pleasant Sunday to you, Sue!

Hello, I came from Don Kinney's blog. Your blog looks fine, no blank page here. It was probably a fluke.

So beautiful and hopeful to see as we recover from a late winter snowstorm followed by bitter cold temps and a biting wind. I NEED spring

Hi Sue
Glad that you are feeling better. :) :) Is it that time already!! How fun to see all the trees blooming.. You have some wonderful images here. I am returning to CA. around the 17th and my parents are not in need of 24 hour care so hopefully we will finally get to meet up and say HI.. that would be sooo fun. Take care Aloha, Renee :)

Wow!!!! Spring already???? Aren't you the luckiest to herald it for us here in the blog world while North East is still struggling with snow storms and we in Mid west are just beginning to see our birds slowly come back home and out of hibernation........ :)

These shots are enough to put a spring in anyone's step, Sue....beautiful and full of cheer and hope. Thanks for sharing them....and hope you are up and about now, doing fine?
