ABC WEDNESDAY for the 4th time

Today we begin the 4th go-around for ABC Wednesday.
The first letter is " A ".
" A "
is for giant ANTS. Awfully large ANTS!!
I saw these 2 foot tall ANTS at a local garden nursery. They were bronze castings and very attention-grabbing.
To see who else has posted for our ABC Wednesday just click on Mrs. Nesbitts link on my sidebar.
Why not join in the fun. Its challenging and can be very amusing.
Enlarging this post will show the giant Ants in all their glory.

A huge ant would make an interesting garden sculpture, that's for sure!

Those ants remind me of an old B-grade horror movie.

Ants are very interesting animals. Look what millions of ants can create together.

I don't like ants very much, and if they were so big, I would run away from them.
Have a nice day !

Good choice there!

I must say I hate ants...I know it is a strong word but I do. I stod on an ant path too long once in Mexico and that was sooo awful.

Take care and have a great day/ Tyra

Great A : ). Those ants made me want to go on a picnic! Too bad it is 20 degrees outside! How cold is it where you are?

Excellent info and a fabulous image.

Wow. These are incredible. I bet the kids must have a great time clambering all over them.

I don't want to see those ants any bigger than they are, thank you!!

AphotoAday said...

You'd probably have to call on the aid of "Big Foot" to squash ants as big as those...

Rose said...

I certainly wouldn't want these ants finding a way into my house! Clever photo!

I'm glad I don't have those ants in my pants!

Those ants are wonderful! Do you think they scare away the smaller varieties?

Cute picture. Those ants are really something else.

If I had to have an ant around - I'd take that artificial one. Beats the hundreds of little ones that scurry around and give me the willies!

Enjoyed your post!

Believe it or not, I had a dream last night about bugs. I have bugphobia and it looks like I need a big can of RAID for this one. :)

Wow, my kids would love to see this live!
