superbe couleur et j'aime beaucoup la transparence dans la feuille.
superb color and I love transparency in the leaf
Our leaves are gone or going. Most are on the ground. We suck them up and then spread them out under and around plants and bushes so the birds like the thrashers, wrens, robins and others can scratch through them this winter and next spring and find insects and worms to eat. It works every time. The rest of our leaves, not as pretty as your leaves in yellow, are blowing here and there and the neighbors get some of them and we get some of their leaves.
I forgot to tell you yesterday that our two dogs, alive and well in the 1970s, used to run outside and pose together, side by side, when they saw me get the camera. I have a lot of pictures of them posing that way.
Most of our leaves are off the trees now, they just need raking together, maybe a wind will send them to one of the neighbours.
Your doggy looks like our doggy apart from colour, ours will be going for a trim this week.
Have a look at the owl on my blog.
Your leaves are beautiful!! LOVE the lighting!!
You see, you have some Fall color in CA! Beauty is where you look for it!
Not only are our leaves gone, like Abe's, but we have an inch of snow. It's beautiful!
And so is this leaf! Enjoy your week, Sue.
love the back-lit leaves........the other day my husband and I were trying to choose which color do we love the most amongst fall leaves......after much deliberation, my husband chose red and i went with yellow :)
the colors here are almost gone from trees....but they are still showing on the roads and ground :)
glad to know your husband is doing well now, Sue.
So beautiful. I can see your autumn is as spectacular as ours!
Beautiful. Our leaves are almost all down, raked and piled up waiting for pick up.
Loved the picture!
It's as though Mother Nature gives us this lovely visual treat to remember throughout the bleak winter...
Glad your hubby is better:)
So clear and colorful, I feel like I am there. We don't get many autumn colors around here. Mostly things stay green year round.
Beautiful Autumn Gold, gorgeous picture! Amazing, the detail your camera lens is capable of capturing.
So good to hear that your husband is back in good health!
Interesting that the veins are still green in one leaf but not the other.
I love your grandpuppy! He is so cute.
I could look at leaves forever : )! How very beautiful! I can't believe your leaves took so long to turn colors. Ours are almost all brown now.
thanks for coming by my blog! Nice to 'meet' you and see your blog, too! Great stuff...I love your photos.
Greetings to a fellow Californian...believe it or not we have some pretty darned gorgeous autumn colored leaves around here, too...not many, but some streets are lined with them. LOVE it! BUT, I hate the heat we're having..reading about snow here made me envious!
I love your commenter Olivier writing in French, too! We lived in Paris for four years.....
hope to see you again! have a great week. z
The autumn leaves make lovely photos Sue. - Dave

Nice, vivid yellow. The sunshine sure accentuate the colour. Beautiful shot.
Lovely shot.I like the way the light illuminates from behind.

I love the light also. Most of our leaves are on the ground now and it's very cold. I am ready for Spring. LOL Have a great weekend!
Beautiful colors and closeup. :)
