THE LAST OF FALL

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend. This is just about the last leaf of Fall in our area.
We have our Granddaughters with us this weekend so I will get to all of your posts in a few days.
Enlarge this photo to see the complex veins of this leaf.

Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy those beautiful grandchildren.

So good to be back and thanks for your comments. The last month has been very sad. We had to rush home to be with my dear sister-in-law who very bravely lost her battle with melanoma not long after we got there.

This is very artistic. I love the colour and a translucent light through the red leaf.

The freezing rain has coated the landscape outside in an unending sheen of gray and white. This photo has instantly snapped me out of my pre-winter reverie.

I've got a couple of colorful photos that I need to pull out of my archives. Thank you for the push in the right direction! This is an absolutely glorious shot.

Another great photo! The red colour of a leaf is beautiful as well as the shadow that it made by leaf.
