FALLING LEAVES

Into every life a little rain must fall.
That sounds a bit sad and depressing I know, but I guess its all about choices.
What do we do with the rain in our lives? That's the question.
Everything is fine here. I just felt like asking a thoughtful question today.

Ah, real falling leaves... not many of them to be seen here in Florida! But we did have rain yesterday.

les feuilles d'automne remontent une petite rivière. On dirait des petits bateaux.

the leaves fall back a little river. They are like small boats.

A great photo, as usual. I haven't been around much commenting either, but I do faithfully check out your blog, always looking forward to seeing what you have to offer, and it's always good.

We have more rain than most! I try to find the positives in the rainfall - it makes the flowers grow after all!

I LOVE that picture. When rain comes into my life I feel sad and I worry. I would like to say I turn to God, but too often, I do not!

With so much rain we received recently, I won't have to water the lawn for awhile.

There is a boundless supply of leaves on the ground, shrubs, street, sidewalk, cars, driveways, etc. and all of them are beautiful, each in their own way. I love the sound of drying leaves, and wish that we could still burn them because I loved the smell of them.

For those of us who are rain lovers, this is a positive statement, not depressing. A pretty water puddle.

And you are right... fall is falling too fast.

"All things in moderation" as my Mum used to say. Too little rain can starve us to death. Too much rain can drown us. But just-right rain is something we should be grateful for. - Dave

I don't mind the rain so much as long as the sun shines once in a while!

Nice post and photo.

How perfect the words you added to this beautiful photo. Almost made the photo melancholy, as if the leaves were speaking of times past.

This is a beautiful picture!
Leaves are falling, to give the trees a rest, and create new life in the spring. We all know that, of course, that's where our hope lies, even on a rainy day. ;-)

Happy happy B-Day to you! I hope you find many reasons to celebrate today! :-)

True sentiment... and beautiful photo. The blue sky in the reflection is a perfect match to your rain.

Nice photo of dry leaves on the water surface as well as the reflection of white fluffy clouds in it!
As for the rain; some people love it but some are hate it what depend on different circumstances (drought or flood).
As for me I enjoy the knocking sound of silver liquid rain drops on my window while I looking at those who enjoy dancing in the rain.
P.S.Thanks for your question about the way I make rosehip tea. You can find my answer on my blog.
