CURVES AND RUST

I saw this old chandelier at a Flea Market and just loved the curves and rust.
Have a nice day and if you have time go over to Mr. Mapper's blog via my sidebar link.
He has a great picture of a nosey butterfly.
Be sure to enlarge this shot to see all the detail.

I made a similar discovery at a yard sale four or five years ago. I had the fixture rewired, but not painted, and it hangs beautifully in my home's main stairway. It is a majestic focal point and adds such character and warmth to our home.

It`s very fine work, I was thinking at first, it is a part from some iron gate :)I want to thank you for your kind comments on my blog and tell, that I am going to take my kicksledge and Kiki dog and go to enjoy fresh air, snow and "speed" :)

Happy weekend to you!

That click to enlarge reminder is always important. There's such an incredible amount of detail we'd have missed without it. Great shot. Did you buy it?
