ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " P "
Welcome to ABC Wednesday. Today's letter is " P ".
The letter " P " is for Pleading.
This figure was in a family plot at an old cemetery in the California foothills.
I liked the imploring and pleading look on her face and the hands clasped in prayer.

As always, your photos are inspired. Always so impressive and creative.
I think the statue is pleading to the birds don't poop on me anymore PLEASE!

Beautiful and creative.
Clever for P!
That's a very beautiful statue. It'has a real expression of a praying girl who wants to be understood.
excellent choice, wonderful sculpture and photo too
How beautiful. She's definitely making an earnest prayer for someone.
Greate image. Have a nice day!
Would you believe that one of our cats looks like that when it is pestering for more food... :)
Excellent photo Sue. 'P' also for your new President! Congratulations! - Dave
Possibly pleading with the pigeons to perch elsewhere!
Seriously, that's a beautiful image, and a beautiful subject. I love the old statuary and monuments in graveyards. People used to have much more imagination than we seem to have these days.
Wow what an amazing sculpture!
This is a great choice for letter “P”. This sculpture is beautiful, touching and very impressive!
A perfect choice for P; a very expressive sculpture.
It's like a bad witch has cast a spell on a little child and made him a small statue!!! Rich imagination, don't you think?
I love cemeteries! Some of the old gravestones in particular have a wonderfuuly haunting character to them. Lovely photo.
that is a great sculpture with such real emotions showing through
Perfect.
Pleading... and possibly Praying... praying for the outcome of the election!
we stayed up till 1am watching the US election results last night (with the rest of the world), and I'm pretty happy about the way things turned out. The future has suddenly got a little brighter. It was very interesting being here in Florida on election day, specially as Florida was one of the pivotal states.
Congratulations America!
pleading and praying too for the pigeons to stop plopping!
Frozen in stone -- what a sad way to go...
And all she got was some drops from a Passing Pelican?
This is such a beautiful shot! :) Great post for the theme.

Love the aged patina of the statue.
This truly fits the theme well.
Unique choice for our P-day, but it's beautiful!
It's kind of sad. The birds don't give it much thought though. Nice concept image!
Your photo is PERFECT and so emotional.

I feel like putting my arms around her and saying,"There, there! It's going to be all right."
