GROUNDED THEME #3


Being Grounded with a good education develops and give our kids the tools they need to mature into Grounded adults.

We have one of those desks up in our attic; can't remember where I found it, oh, so many years ago when my childen were as young as this child in your nostalgic photo.

This is not that far from the way our desks looked in the early 1940s except there was a hole in the right side for a bottle of ink. Nice post.

I've seen these desks at several old schoolhouses turned into museums, but didn't know they are still being used.

I didnt know that chalk boards are still being used, or can they not afford paper for the students.

She LOOKS grounded, almost like the desks - so rigid - are about to swallow her up.

I could practically smell the wood in the classroom. Powerful pic...very grounding indeed!

I love this photo. Is it taken at the old schoolhouse in Sacramento? Reminds me a bit of what I remember.
