AN ALPACA NAMED INDEPENDENCE
During the Farm Tour we attended last weekend we met the cutest little guy named Independence.
This Alpaca was so soft and quite friendly. He loved having his neck petted and eating a special treat of apple bits.
I really wanted to take him home with me.

What an adorable face!
A.
He is a beautiful animal and one who most people put to work carrying a load of something. Or is that the other kind? ANyway, it is a nice portrait close-up.
Oh my, he is sooooo adorable! I just want to give him a hug!!
What an interesting profile! I've never been that close to an alpaca. He does look soft and cuddly.
Oh, look at that cute widdle face.
How could you resist not bringing him back home?
Bear((( )))
I want one!!!
Oh I don't know, but I think that Alpaca looks a whole lot like your son's snickerdoodle...
That face is just TOO cute!
Oh my, what a cutie!
he is a cutie...the fur looks so soft. I guess that is why they use it for sweaters. Thanks for all your visits and wonderful comments. You are a dear.
He does look cute and his fur looks like soft warm carpeting. I wonder how big alpaca's get. I can't blame you for wanting one.
Ohh I would want to take him home too. He can even sleep in my bed! He looks that cuddly :)
He's sure very cute. Sweet face.
Such an adorable baby face !
Greetings to you

Awww...He is really adorable. He looks like a giant stuffed toy animal.
I'd have to try very hard to not hug him. What a sweetie!
I'll go hug the dog instead. He looks like he needs a little extra love on this very cold morning.
so cute!!!! he looks absolutely adorable, huggable , loveable...and al other-ables you can think of :)
reminds me of faye's posts :)
Alpacas are popular animals farmed here too. It appears that they are very easy to manage, they give a good quality wool and are very affectionate animals. - Dave
Beautiful profile and well done close-up!
Just like a stuffed animal, so soft looking! Cutie.
Does look like a stuffed animal.. was he/she soft?
Oh, so cute! It reminds me of the little bear that advertises fabric softener. Now I want an alpaca of my very own ... but I don't know how well he'd do in this tiny apartment on the 19th floor.
