WILD OATS

The sun highlighting this shaft of wild oats caught my attention last week. I thought it would make an interesting picture.
I hope everyone will have a super weekend.

magnifique
"Mon village est au bout
De ce rang isolé
Où le blanc des nuages
Vient toucher l'or des blés"...

beautiful
"My village is at the end
As a single row
Where the white clouds
Just touch the golden wheat "...

Would this be a remnant of "Sowing your (wild) oats?" that some people talk so much about.

It sure is a neat shot with the light bouncing off the grains.

I love summer grass, golden in the light. I called them foxtails when I was a kid - and they stick in your socks :)

That spray looks so graceful. Oats are one of nature's miracles.

Such a hard image to get right but this is perfect. The textures and shades really are layered.
