THE DESERT

This was the view out my plane window as we left the Arizona airport. What a barren, rough dry land. I wouldn't like to be climbing any of those ridges.
Be sure to enlarge this picture to see the ridges more clearly.

vraiment impressionnante cette vue du ciel du désert.

really impressive this view of the desert sky.

Wow. I don't find that very appealing.

I loved my Grandma and this photo reminds me of the skin on the back of her hands. It was soft and wrinkly but her touch always showed that you were loved.

Good Friday to you!
Those words of mrs.me got almost tears in my eyes!
The photo is really good and puts also to think plenty of things.
Have a good weekend!

Yeah, better "up there" than "down there"...

When I flew from LA to Toronto I flew over landscapes like that. It was so fascinating that I just looked out of the window the whole time.... until the land started to look greener. I had never seen anything so beautiful before. Just like flying over a model of mountains.

It's such an interesting terrain from the air. So strange looking.

This is really beautiful photo and impressive look of that rough dry land. I have to say that I too was moved by "Mrs.me" comment.

It almost looks like the surface of the moon - desolate!

I have done good deal of flying between LA & Colorado, and never tire of that landscape.

It's amazing how carved it looks. Hard to believe it's the land of the earth down there.

I love to see these pictures - from above with a great huge perspective! (better seen from above than tramping around on those dry hills...sweating :))
