ABC WEDNESDAY " LETTER C "

Today is ABC Wednesday and the letter is " C ". "C " stands for Crocodile.
I found this amazing Crocodile mounted on the wall at the Outback Restaurant in Nevada.
Aha I exclaimed...my C post is right above my head. So I took my trusty camera out of my purse and got my post for ABC Wednesday.
Be sure to see everyone that's posting this challenge by going to Mrs. Nesbitts blog. She can be found by clicking on her name in my side bar.

Great capture and equally great "C"!

Cheers, Klaus

(P.S.: just one thing - it's a good ole gator... ;), though I believe his name was Charlie)

Great idea for today! I don't think I'd like to get that close to a live one, though. lol

That's cool. I haven't seen a croc at the Outback. I'll take a look the next time I go...maybe I'm too busy eating. I love the Outback. Its home base is in our area, you know.

Glad it was not from a close encounter :)

I suspect I will not be in the bay area for an interview any time soon, but it is possible I will be going to LA. If you happen to be in that area, let me know!

I think it would be a bit un-nerving to have that croc right above my head -- dead and stuffed, or not...

Hey Photo. Sue, do you remember the alligators in the old Stienhart Aquarium... Wonder if there will be any in the new place -- it should be opening soon...

Best regards, as always, Don and Kitty

Great shot for C!

Great C. I carry my little point and shoot in my pocket for just such emergencies as collecting a "C".

Well done and thanks for the visit,

Troy and Martha

And in comes the lady,

no ... crocodile picture! Amazing creature. ;-)

The grape image is outstanding,
congratulations on that capture!

P.S.:
Would you believe that I was thinking of you when I realized you had left a comment on my blog while I had gone looking for your link?
Good morning from Vienna, I say! Good night to California! :-)

I saw a baby cayman croc at a water-park in cheshire recently - I still have fond memories of california because of the friendship of our hosts and the loveliness of catalina - but I still cringe when I think about palm springs.

Wow. I guess that would be different. I am not sure I would want to sit there but would probably ask for a seat without a bigger predator than me over my head. LOL

Great C photo. Really good detail too.

I was glad to read he was stuffed - that is a very close up shot for an alive one.

I am glad I am not the only one who carries my camera around everywhere I go!
