OLD BOAT HOUSE

Hi, and thanks for all the comments while hubby and I were gone.
We were at one of our favorite places, Lake Tahoe.
We loved seeing some new places and took a tour of an old resort area, called Valhalla, which is now part of the U.S. Forest Service. It is run by the Tahoe Tallac Association and they help keep everything authentic and beautiful.
I really like the textured siding on this old boat house and thought the intense sunlight and shadows made an interesting picture.
Be sure to enlarge this shot to see the siding detail.

I really like this photo. It is beautiful and interesting with that lamp and a small window on the wooden wall. It looks like romantic somehow.

I love that photo. You take the photos that I would never think of. I need to think outside the box.

Thanks for your comments on my blog. Those tears lasted about two minutes. She was so cold. Normally the pool would be warm, but with daily rains, it does cool right down. She absolutely loved being in the water. Swimming is great exercise for people with CF, so hopefully she will learn early and swim often.

I didn't know you were back from your trip. I think I checked up on you yesterday. Looks like you have some spam here.
