WHAT'S LEFT
Pictured is what's left of the original Big Gun Mining Company. As I shared in the post yesterday this is where granite was quarried for buildings, monuments and markers. To see the detail, please enlarge the picture.
I have a passion for photography. I use my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3, so come with me and see Rocklin, California and points North, South, East and West.

What an interesting photo of "what's left"
I sometimes see these dilapidated buildings as I drive along the highway, but I never turn off the highway to photograph it. I'm glad you did.
belle photo d'une grange qui a fait son temps
beautiful photo of a barn that has outlived its usefulness
it's really sad to see the last days of buildings who had great times in the past
Not a lot remaining now. How long ago did the company close down?
What a nice photo. The barn looks like it is on its way down.
Thanks for the comment on penny candy.
There is a kind of melancholy about these old, abandoned buildings. You captured that well in your photograph.
I like a lot the mood on your two last images.
That's a very striking building isn't it?
