LIFE

This has been a very difficult few days for us. Our hearts are heavy with a great sadness. We lost a very close and dear friend yesterday. The friends we helped move just one week ago had tragedy strike on Monday. Jack had a massive stroke and passed away yesterday. He leaves a wife and daughter to continue life in a new place.
One begins to question why did this happen. But this one thing I know, inspite of everything, God is in control and Jack is in Heaven free from pain and the difficulties of life here on earth.
He was a man of integrity and always for the underdog. His family and his love of the Lord always came first. There was no duplicity in him. What you saw was what he was, a man of God and a true friend.
He will be missed.
Earthly life has ceased, New life has begun.

Indeed it has Sue. What a journey he must be on now! This is a beautiful shot and a lovely post. I am so sorry for your loss and his family. I am sure there is a big and deep hole. Where could we find hope if we did not have Jesus? He will fill up what is empty...no doubt.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and them...take care.

Oh dear Sue, I am sending you ((((((HUGS))))) across the ocean. Please give my regards to the family. A time of sadness, especially in such a new place. I hope the plans they made together will unfold and be a source of comfort as the days turn into weeks and months.

Lots of love,
Denise

This is so sad. Your flowers help move the heavy heart. Grief is the most difficult burden - because there is no way around it. Wishing you and the family peace during this awful time.

so, so sorry to hear, sue. i will lift those who are left behind in my prayers..... for peace and comfort.

this is a lovely tribute to him. the anniversary of a childhood friend's death is coming up for me, the second year. i wanted to write something for him last year, but the sadness was too great. every time i sat down to write it, my emotions were overwhelming. i'm hoping to do it this year.

Why is it that being the most natural thing, we find death so difficult to understand and accept. My heart is with you in this sad moment .

Sue,
Life in Christ offers a wondrous assurance, does it not? But, I know your heart is aching right now. What a shock to lose someone in the blink of an eye. Let Him hold you close, dear one.

I'm so sorryfor your loss. That is so hard. What you said about him could have been my husband's obituary.

Some folks don't understand the way we talk....God is in control and all that, but what on earth would we do if we didn't believe that?

God bless.
