MANZANITA VISITOR

Yesterday there was so much activity around our Manzanita tree. Bees were buzzing, Hummingbirds were humming and Butterflies were "flying". It feels like Spring in the Fall.

I am glad the insects and birds are all healthy and happy and being fed. They have all but disappeared from around here. It is getting colder.

It's a bit gloomy here and with all the cloud it's often dark by 4.
A butterfly and a dazzling blue sky, the perfect pick me up.

You should be very proud of this butterfly shot... --Looks like the creature gave you just enough time -- they're pretty fast...
--And yes, this is the time of year that the Monarchs would be passing through (I grew up in Pacific Grove, which touts itself as Butterfly Town, U.S.A.)...
