Wow,such colour and great shot. Thanks for your advice on the owls. much appreciated.
that's so striking...what an orginal picture!
OH, this is so nice....and, when enlarged, you can see little pieces of it growing on the bottom also. NEATO!
Oh, this is really simple but lovely and interesting photo. It really beautiful contrast between that green and grey.
I guess this must be the kind reindeer and other animals eat. I have not seen it here where I live. I have seen the kind that is flat and looks almost like a scaly moss and mine grows on old stones and monuments like my old Japanese lantern. My lantern is now starting to look like those found in Japanese graveyards.Yours is a nice photograph with plenty of color and details.
I like lichen, you like lichen, we all like lichen...
Great colours and texture. I'm lichen it a lot!
I liken your lichen.
Lichen is beautiful. I love how it is growing on the fence here.
That's super green!
That's a cool shot. Green is my fav color, and wood is my fav texture... how much better can it get! Thanks,Wayne
:) The contrast of the plant against the wood and the incredible hue! Great shot.
I agree with you about the colour contrast. The vivid shade of green against the weathered, gray boards is fantastic. An aside: if you hear anything about or from Faye, let me know. I'm getting a little anxious to hear.
Well spotted and captured!
HiMonet's Garden now showing
What a gift, to see these green growing lichen on that weathered gray fence. Perfection.

Was the lichen up in Washinton State, where it is more moist, the lichen grows better.
