ABC WEDNESDAY ON THURSDAY

" Q " is the letter of ABC Wednesday.....I decided to post a colorful Quilt I saw at our County Fair.
Thank you for all the wonderful and very kind words on the Aid/Hiv walk our family did last week.
Let's not forget those less fortunate than us , especially at this time of year, whether its sharing our time, ourselves or our finances.

Lovely and colourful! It's cooled down here somewhat today and that quilt looks very inviting...

I love how you've captured this. It speaks of unity to me: we're all tied together in this amazing adventure called life. And the whole thing fails if we don't hold on tight.

(I LOVE your recent flower pics. There's no such thing as too many views of a sunflower. Bring 'em on!)

When I think of all the hours my mom spent cutting out scraps of used cloth and then sewing them together to make quilt patches it reminds me of how tough times were for us during the war. This is a beautiful quilt. I don't think mom had material this colorful.

I so wanted to do this but I blog instead and have no time for anything else!!!

I really admire people who can turn out such works of art from scraps of fabric.

Greetings from our snowy country!
It`s lovely to see cotton like landscape, but in same time I need to see also colours as your quilt photo.
Quilts were telling stories of life in earlier days, my mother made them
from our old clothes.
I wish you happy weekend!

That is a beautiful quilt. It reminds me of those Magic Eye photos that if you stare at it long enough, you'll see another picture behind it.
