THE CANOPY OF FALL

Well ,this is my 6th attempt at publishing the post. The picture isn't the way I wanted to show it. I had enhanced it with film grain and highlighted a bit but the blogger wouln't let me use that shot.
So here goes my final attempt at publishing this.

I had a similar problem also. But I realized that after I edited a photo - I had to save it as a jpeg and not as a psd file - because blogger wouldn't accept a psd file. It also wouldn't upload it if I still had it open in photoshop elements. Not sure if that helps you or not.

This is a beautiful fall picture. Those leaves are just wonderful.

Such a pretty shot. Everyone's fall color photos have me itching to make a road trip somewhere so I can see it for myself.

Yeah, like Kerri says, be sure and save the image as a jpeg after you have manipulated it.

Image-->Resize-->Image Size, and then change the long side pixels to, say, 1200 and it should automatically change the short side of the photo to keep the proportions the same, then File-->Save As, and put it in a folder. When it asks you the quality setting, adjust the little slider to the left some. I usually save 1200pixel wide or tall photos at about 200KB. It makes the file small enough to upload and also the 1200pixel width or height will match the size of most folk's screens.

The smaller file size will make it load much faster when people click on your photos to enlarge them.

Anyway, your mileage may vary, but it works for me.

Blogger has been temperamental lately. I guess its a work in progress :)

I love this picture, yellow and brown, and the strong element of the trunk with its multiple branches. Great eye!

Blogger can be a pain. It won't accept some files i know.

I still like this version. It reminds me of a stained glass window.

Blogger can indeed give you a giant headache. Ever since I started posting from Flickr, all problems have ceased.
Love your photo today-the fall colors and how you've framed everything in the shot is just perfection!
