I can't believe it. This picture marks my 500th posting on this blog. I never thought I would have so much fun and meet so many wonderful people around the world.
Thank you for all your encouragement, friendship and helpful lessons which has gotten me through the last few years.
Because of all of you I will continue to see the world with new eyes. On to the next 500....
The photo was taken in our backyard after a night of gentle rain.

Congrats on #500! Very cool shot. I really think it would be interesting to crop out everything around the one large drop. The detail on the surface of that drop is very interesting in its self.

Warner doesnt think Pats cheated in Super Bowl, unless he does
patriotnation12 says:
Apr 12, 2013 10:49 AM
The following is a quote from Superbowl winning coach Jimmy Johnson:
This is exactly how I was told to do it 18 years ago by a Kansas City Chiefs scout. I tried it, but I didn t think it helped us. Bill Belichick was wrong because he videotaped signals after a memo was sent out to all teams saying not to do it. But what irritates me is hearing some reactions from players and coaches.
These players don t know what their coaches are doing, and some of the coaches have selective amnesia because I know for a fact there were various teams doing this. That s why the memo was sent to everybody. That doesn t make Belichick right, but a lot of teams are doing this.
That quote says a lot about the videotaping, especially where Johnson says, I tried it, but I didn t think it helped us. People don t seem to understand that this was common practice amongst all teams, not just the Patriots.
Belichick and the Patriots got in trouble because the league requested that the practice be stopped. However, Belichick interpreted the new rule incorrectly. Belichick believed the taping was legal as long as the tape wasn t used during the same game. Below is an explanation of the taping rule:
No video recording devices of any kind are permitted to be in use in the coaches booth, on the field, or in the locker room during the game. All video shooting locations must be enclosed on all sides with a roof overhead. Any use by any club at any time, from the start to the finish of any game in which such club is a participant, of any communications or information-gathering equipment, other than Polaroid-type cameras or field telephones, shall be prohibited, including without limitation videotape machines, telephone tapping, or bugging devices, or any other form of electronic devices that might aid a team during the playing of a game.
In other words it s STILL TO THIS DAY LEGAL to tape opponents signals you just can t do it from the coaches box or sidelines.
But to those great NFL fans who want to actually reach out and do some research, educate themselves, aren t ignorant enough to believe that something that was being done by everyone and I guarantee is still going on today had any effect on the Patriots successes, we New England fans thank you.
Despite testimonials from Roger Goodell, Dan Rooney, Jimmy Johnson, Matt Walsh, the New England Patriots and the retraction from the Boston Herald, those of you who chose to think the Pats didnt win fair and square you are ignorant f s. But leave nike air max 90 it to some fans to think they know more about the game and what went on behind the scenes than people who were actually involved.
Haters will always hate!
Kiss my tainted rings ignorant fans!
