MEASLES ??

I can't seem to load my pictures from my camera to the computer. I think the memory stick is corrupted. So I have to dig into my archives again.
To me, this rose looks like it has measles. Poor thing.
To get a closer look just click on the picture.

What great detail when viewed large. It is a lovely flower despite the "imperfections"

je ne connais pas le nom de cette fleur, mais elle est tres belle. ton blog est tres printanier.

I do not know the name of this flower, but it is very beautiful. your blog is very spring.

I am not sure if I am right or wrong but it looks like a kind of rose without thorns. No matter of those measles it still is beautiful with those pink edges. Beautiful photo!

There's so much to learn about flowers and photos! It's lovely -- subtle shades.

Measles or even a chicken pox :)
But beautifully sick is this flower.
Did you realize this small usually yellow thing in the edge of a memory card. It may by accident move and because it is for locking thing, it will really lock photos in the card.
it has been happening to me more than once.
nice day to you, sue!

Wow Wow!!!
The poor flower, has it also a fever like me now?:) Just kidding, I love this shot because I like not pretty flowers/faces over pretty faces/flowers, they have more character of their own!

JoAnn :)

interesting.....i had a tea rose plant like this at our old house, but it never got 'the measles'. :)

i wonder what it is that caused it......

they are beautiful plants, nonetheless!

I think the spots make it all the more interesting! Somehow the colour is intensified... I like it!

Try taking the memory card out of the camera and put it in a card reader to get the images of the camera. If you can see the images on the back of the camera, they are still on the memory card, it may be the camera or the cable, who knows, also try another memory card just in case it is a card problem.

My Brother-In-Laws family has had a place on the North side of the lake since the early 1900's. It turns out that his grand parents were founding members of the Sierra Club, and there is a peak named after his grandfather! Lots of family history there. We got a good three days out of the deal!

Well, I don't think I have every seen a flower with the measles... a first for everything.

Not the measles, the flower is just sporting the hottest pattern in fall fashion--polka dots!

I'm not sure what it has but it looks sick. I loved the photo of the flowers you took yesterday.

sorry about the camera, but it's neat to see old photos. I haven't seen this one.

Polka dots?

Ack, sorry about your camera. I gave up uploading my photos from my camera to my computer. Now i just use a card reader. Faster, less hassle and you can get one for less than $20 at Staples.

My roses get strange freckles sometimes too. I know its a blight of some sort but a pretty blight :)

I'm sure it smells just as sweet. So sorry to hear about your pictures. I hope you're able to recover them.

It's still pretty though. Hard to make a rose look bad.
