THE LAST TRAIN

Here is my last photo from the Old Sacramento Railway Station. Unfortunately the picture was taken right around noon so my sky is blown out a bit. I like the vivid yellow of the cabin so I decided to post it anyway.
Be sure to check out my son's blog site. He does some nice work.

j'ai beaucoup aime cette serie sur les trains. ce wagon est tres beau, et j'ai l'impression de le connaitre tellement on voit se type de wagon dans les films americains

I have much like this series on the trains. this coach is very beautiful, and I have the impression to know it so much one sees standard coach in American films

So much prettier than the all-aluminum Amtrak trains of today.

Those photos are so neat. Riding the train is one of my favorite memories of childhood.

Love the colors! Too bad about the sky but even without a pretty blue it still is a stunning shot.

Great work as always!

We start to need sun like colours here, our autumn has come with rainy, grey, chilly days. So, thank you for this photo, it was just, what I needed today !

I like old trains. There was one that went up and the morning and back in the evening right in front of our house. I missed that for a long time.

This is one car in yellow and I can't remember ever seeing a yellow one before. I am sure they are a lot of them.

I went to the son's blog and liked what I saw there.

Thank you for visiting my blog and for commenting.

I can see the sky is blue by the reflections in the window... and anyway, who needs sky when there are such bright colours on the train?? Great photo.

Sue,
Great photo, as usual. :) Visited your son's blog - he seems to have inherited your talent with the camera! Thanks for the link!

Cabooses are so great. I always have images of political campaigners on the back of them, even Lincoln.

I agree with Abe, haven't seen one this color, like a school bus.
