DOWN BY THE STATION ANOTHER VIEW

Another shot of the Railyard in Old Sacramento.
Sorry I haven't commented on everyone's blog this weekend.
We had our dear friends, who we have known for over 45 years, and who lived right next door to us for 41 years, come and visit this weekend. We had a delightful time catching up on life and just enjoying each other's company.

I too spent delightful time in the company of my friend and her beautiful family during my vacation. She is a great friend of mine who moved to Croatia to live with her family 15 years ago running away from the war. We hadn’t seen each other for 3 years but we are in touch by the phone very often. Yet I am very much sorry that such a good friend lives so far away from me.
Have a wonderful time with your friends and just keep the friendship that you have. That is the real fortune.

Glad you had a nice visit with old friends (I mean old friendship friends, not that they're old, ha).

I wish we had more trains.

Neighbors for 41 years……wow…..A number of years ago, we moved into a house, and our new neighbours had lived there for 50 years. I remember thinking, 50 years ago they moved here, 23 years later I was born, and 27 years after that, I moved in and we had our 2nd child……It kind of boggled my mind!

I'd love to wander around a train yard like this.
