HALF EMPTY OR HALF FULL?

Hubby and I went to a wedding in San Francisco Saturday. I wasn't able to take the usual San Francisco shots, it was too foggy and had been misty in the morning.
I was too far from the bride to get any decent photos so I resorted to taking pictures of all the glassware on our table. Thanks to my friend Lynne for suggesting I give it a try.
Now the burning question....How do you see the glass? Half empty or half full and what does that mean to you?

I see it as half full with plenty of room for more! And I also see a very interesting picture, nice reflections. I hope you had a good time at the wedding. We're having one of our own in October... YoungerSon is getting himself hitched. So exciting!

Gee, I am an optimist but I first saw this glass as half-empty. Maybe I just want a good, big drink of water right now!

Just now with the hot weather, it should be empty and asking for more water to fill it again.
Excuse my critique, but you are too close to the glass with the camera, back off and use the zoom on the camera, try it again and compare pictures.

:) the last time i was attending a wedding , not too long back, i wished i had a camera with ultra-zoom to catch the bride and her smile better.....i think i saw the glass half empty too...but that's coz i'm always rushing by guests at my place to fill their glasses, not coz i'm a pessimist :)

If I'm thirsty...half empty -- if not.... half full. :)

Sue,
Excellent angle!! Makes me feel like I'm looking into one of those fun house mirrors. I see the glass as half-full.

Great question.. :) I think if it was a wine glass I would say half full so where is the rest of the pour!!! but since it is water and sooooo hot over there I would say half empty since everyone must be sooooooo thirsty!! :) :) Hope you get cooler weather soon... :) :)

I think it’s enough for me….not too little; not too much…just the golden mean :-))

Half-full!

Though to an engineer it would be too much glass. :-)
