BEFORE BLASTOFF
Here's how the rocketship looked before that fateful day. For the summer camp Bible school every child and volunteer had to pass through the archway and enter into their own little classes. Each tent held a class of about 15 kids and at least 2 volunteers. They all wore their Galaxy t shirts and had an absolute ball.

what do you mean to that fateful day? Something bad happened? It seemed a haooy day there
Neat shot...I like the way you framed it.
Interesting post today.
What a way to start the fun! I loved VBS when I was a child; I remember it yet.
Very nice event. I'm sure it was exciting for the kids.
superbe cette fusée, les enfants devaient etre tres heureux
superb this rocket, the children were to be very happy
the kids get to have all the fun, dont they!!! :)
Looks like a fun day.
Interesting!
Nice event for children to remember. I like that blue sky; it matches beautiful with those white tents that are making a small “tent’s street”.:-))
Read your most recent two posts. 3000 kids??? Whew! Our church has two VBS sessions (am & pm), but not 3000 kids. That is incredible!! Looks like everyone was having a great time, too.

It looks so much bigger and more majestic in this view. That rocket was the center of attention! It makes the previous post even sadder to see it discarded and alone now.
Looks like they are all having a blast!! :) :).. Nice shot. :)
man, that's some vacation bible school!! 3000 kids...i can't even imagine! sir laughsalot attended this past week at a little country church up the road. a pivitol(SP?)summer activity in my book....something i looked forward to every summer as a child.
