YOU LIGHT UP MY LIFE

A beautiful orange jalopy from the Veterans Vintage Car Club.

The detail looks great when enlarged. Just click on the photo.

I love these kind of detail shots from old cars. Most of the time, they're more interesting than a shot of the entire car.

Neat picture. I love detail shots like this.

The detail I always love best in a shot like this is the reflection of the photographer in the chrome! For me it makes the story whole.

Nice shot... Wonder if this is on some sort of tow-truck -- or maybe a fire-truck painted orange...

What an energy color! I got a lift out of looking at this photo, that's for sure.

Wow Sue-this is really cool!
I count at least 5 self-portraits in all that chrome....
Is that The Hubby observing over your shoulder?

Vivid colour for thisimage with an humourous title!

Excellent! That's quite a unique light on this car. Almost like an old lantern.

Oh, about yesteday's post, I have to laugh at myself...I've been so in love with your soon to be yard that it didn't even occur to me to wonder about the house!

Great reflections in the chrome. I wonder how many hours of polishing went into this piece of art.

I love looking at old cars -- they don't make them like they used to.

Hi Sue, your memory is better than you think.

"There was an old woman who swallowed a fly,
I don't know why she swallowed a fly,
Perhaps she'll die.

There was an old woman who swallowed a spider,
That wriggled and jiggled and tickled inside her,
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly,
I don't know why she swallowed the fly,
Perhaps she'll die.

I posted the whole song on my comments, just in case you want to remember the whole thing. It's guaranteed to make you laugh.
