POPPY BUDS

The Icelandic Poppies were just about ready to bloom. I find their fuzzy stems and bud casings fascinating.

That's great! I've never actually seen a growing poppy (that I remember, anyway).

What kind of weather do they "take."

I'm wondering if they would fry in the Florida sun and heat.

Are they drooping because they are not ready to bud yet...or do they need water...or is this just the way they are? I don't remember seeing them like this and it is fascinating.

I think they are either very very tired or they are bowing down before you.

Funny, fuzzy plants make me itch and when I looked at these my hand started itching lol.
